Geotard

The Idea:
Girdles are already used in sports, primarily surrounding the pelvic, hips and thigh area. NFL football players use them to protect this area of the human body. Girdles are essentially spandex with inner, thick padding. The Geotard is a combination of a girdle, and a body sized leotard. Such a geotard would have to be custom fit, in order to fit the person well. First mentioned in the novel Apex, page 197.

Sleep deprivation Tank
Sleep Deprivation Bed
The Idea:
Deprivation tanks exist for meditation and can be quite large, including expensive. Smaller versions could be made but still require water, exposure to water and having to deal with the issue of falling asleep. The Sleep Deprivation Bed is similar in limiting one’s senses to the utmost, in order to isolate the mind for meditation. The sleep deprivation Bed limits sight, sound, smell and taste. The back pressure is reduced by using memory foam and there is no sensation of water, but at least in a sleep deprivation bed, one can have the option of falling asleep. The sleep deprivation bed could be engineered onto a slow rocker, and or pitched enough to enable a side prone position, for those who prefer to lay on their sides.
